Welcome to another edition of Comics Techniques and Tricks, in which we showcase techniques that only comics can do! Click here for the archive!
Remember the previous installment of Easter Eggs in Comics featuring Greyshirt: Indigo Sunset? No, well check it out! We'll be here when you get back.
You back yet? Okay, as it turns out, Andy Savannah's "artwork" actually becomes a semi-important touchpoint for the story, and in fact, Johnny Apollo and Franky Lafayette's penultimate shootout happens in an Andy Savannah exhibit room! Note how the paintings are juxtaposed in such a way that it resonates what's going on with the narrative.
Finally, a use for something started by Roy Lichtenstein!
