Gail Simone on Superman, Alan Moore on Dark Knight

Gail Simone, writer of the excellent Secret Six and the best Wonder Woman in at least 15 years, on Superman:

"Every time someone says Superman is too powerful and too boring to write, my head practically explodes, because I don't understand how you can not have the imagination to make that interesting."

Alan Moore on The Dark Knight:

"
It looks like Hollywood twenty-five years after the fact has finally caught up with the idea that, hey, you could do these characters really dark. Like I say, it's an old idea. It's one that I'd lost interest in by 1990, if not considerably before. And the fact that the film industry is still recycling it in 2008 seems to me little short of pitiful."

Totally agree on both counts, though I still stand by Heath Ledger being awesome.
